Kyushu listed in TIME’s Greatest Places of 2022

Kyushu has listed as one of the 50 places listed in TIME Magazine’s “World’s Greatest Places 2022” in July 2022.　

The seven prefectures that make up the Kyushu region are Fukuoka, Nagasaki, Oita, Saga, Kumamoto, Miyazaki, and Kagoshima.

The region is rich in nature, with Yakushima Island in Kagoshima, Takachiho Gorge in Miyazaki, and Mount Aso in Kumamoto, as well as hot springs such as Yufuin Onsen (hot springs) and Kurokawa Onsen (hot springs). The local cuisine unique to Kyushu is also not to be missed.
