Reopened Japan-Korea route for high-speed vessels!

JR Kyushu reopened high-speed vessels between Hakata Port in Fukuoka, Japan and Busan Port, South Korea in November 4th, 2022.

Because of COVID-19, JR Kyushu stopped operation of high-speed vessels between Hakata and Busan in March, 2020. In 2020, New ship, “Queen Beetle” was completed, but not put into service.

The new ship will make one round trip per day between Fukuoka and Busan. The trip takes 3 hours and 40 minutes.

This ship has a capacity of 502 passengers. There are standard class seats and business class seats.

The ship offers a variety of facilities, including a powder room for women, a nursing room, and a kid’s area for children. In addition, there is the kiosk and duty-free store.
