Kagamiyama Observatory
Overview
Kagamiyama is a mountain with an altitude of 284m, and it is a famous spot that boasts a superb view overlooking not only the city, but also Niji-no-Matsubara and Karatsu Bay. In addition, Mt. Kagami is colored by many legends and is also a historical mountain that was written in Manyoshu.
From the observatory at the top of the mountain, you can enjoy a magnificent view of Karatsu Bay and Niji-no-Matsubara. It is also famous for its cherry blossoms and azaleas, and in spring, the 4-km trail becomes a tunnel of cherry blossoms.
