Keiseki-en

Overview

Yabakei Dam Memorial Park “Keiseki-en” was created to commemorate the completion of the Yabakei Dam in Nakatsu City. The Yamatoigawa River flows near the park, and its water is used to recreate the Yabakei River. A Japanese garden centering on a stone garden has been developed in the park, creating a splendid landscape in harmony with the surrounding mountain nature. The park is famous for its natural changes from season to season, especially for its cherry blossoms in spring and autumn leaves in fall.
